  • For grazing rotations
  • Paddock sizes avaliable to cost seed & fertlizer for resowing paddocks
  • Identifying paddocks to lockup for hay and silage, measuring the amount of harvest per Ha
  • Fence plan for planting out the Latrobe River easement in trees and other shelter belts
  • Feed budgeting useing paddocks sizes to assess availiable feed
  • Paddock identification to help fertilizer contracters topdress the paddocks marked on the plan.

 

Gippsdairy Focus Farm:
We were asked to do a farmplan for Matt & Robyn Colwill.

The farmplan in this case is not only used for the day to day running of the farm, but is also used by the Focus Farm Group to keep in touch with the farms progress and what management decisions are affecting different parts of the farm.

John Mulvany from On Farm Consulting who is facilitating the Focus Group regards an accurate Farmplan as an essential tool in any farmers management toolbox.
