  • We have been creating Whole Farm Plans for Gippsland farmers for more than 10 years.
  • After planning & building our own dairy farm in 1988/89, running the farm for 4 seasons & selling W.I.W.O we purchased 40 acres in Kardella.
  • After 6 months we moved onto Turong Park at Moorooduc on the Mornington Peninsula as the Farm Manager, working with the Stud Manager [Danny Holmes] to produce and show stud & commercial beef cattle.
  • Turong Park was a Limousin & Gelbvieh beef cattle stud which consisted of about 800 Acres on 4 different properties. We decided to do a farmplan on the home farm, mesuring each paddock with a farmscan attached to the tractor, this was going to take a long time.

  • After moving back to Kardella , we joined the Arawata Landcare Group and did a Whole Farm Planning course run by our Landcare facilitator. The format of this farmplan was large and not much good for everyday use.
  • We then searched for a computer program that would deliver an A4 size farmplan with accurate paddock measurements and infrastructure layout e.g watersystem, tracks, Tree belts etc.
  • The system we have created for producing Whole Farm Plans has proved to be accurate and very affective.
